Hanna signature from 1940-1955. Prefixes were Number over Letter 0/J-3/H, Number over Date 0/47-5/54, and Letter over Number A/0-A/5.

P158b Ten Shillings

Wilson signature from 1955-1956. Prefixes were Letter over Number A/5-B/4, and Number next to Letter 0A-0K.

P158c Ten Shillings

Fleming signature from 1956-1967 without a security thread. Prefixes were Number next to Letter 0L-1H.

P158d Ten Shillings

Fleming signature from 1956-1967 with a security thread. Prefixes were Number next to Letter 1J-9S. The security thread is a thin line impregnated into the paper that runs from top to bottom of the note.

Hanna signature from 1940-1955. Prefixes were Number over Letter 0/L-0/Q, Letter over Date A/47-U/54, and Letter over Number G/0-H/2.

P159b One Pound

Wilson signature from 1955-1956. Prefixes were Letter over Number H/2-J/9, Number over Letter 0K, and Three Numbers 001-020.

P159c One Pound

Fleming signature from 1956-1967 without a security thread. Prefixes were Three Numbers 021-107.

P159d One Pound

Fleming signature from 1956-1967 with a security thread. Prefixes were Three Numbers 108-301. The security thread is a thin line impregnated into the paper that runs from top to bottom of the note.

P160a Five Pounds

Hanna signature from 1940-1955. Prefixes were Number over Letter 0/X-8/V. The notes were issued in the following order, X, W, R, S & V, making 8V the last prefix. Many have confused the fact that the 8W illustrated is not the last prefix, just because it comes alphabetically after 8V.

P160b Five Pounds

Wilson signature from 1955-1956. Prefixes were Number over Letter 8/V-5/Y, and Letter next to Number A0-A5.

Fleming signature from 1956-1967 without a security thread. Prefixes were Letter next to Number A5-E8.

P160d Five Pounds

Fleming signature from 1956-1967 with a security thread. Prefixes were Letter next to Number E8-Y9, and Number next to Letter 10A-12L. The security thread is a thin line impregnated into the paper that runs from top to bottom of the note.

Wilson signature from 1955-1956. Prefixes were Number over Letter 0/U, and Number next to Letter 1U.

P162c Fifty Pounds

Fleming signature from 1956-1967 with a security thread. Prefixes were the Letter R. The security thread is a thin line impregnated into the paper that runs from top to bottom of the note.
