These original overprint cards started out as Prefix 373 or 375 Dinosaur - Muttaburrasaurus, and Prefix 391 Year Of The Dog - With Ribbons issues. The fronts of these cards were completely overprinted with an image of Dame Kiri sitting. The backs had all references to Telstra and Telecom Australia removed, along with the Card Code Number, and also had the last bullet point "For Local, STD and International Calls" replaced with "Special collectors card only - Not intended for use".

Subsequently, Telecom/Telstra objected to their Phonecard being on the back of the original overprint cards, stating that it was Trade Mark protected, and demanding that it be removed. Most of the original overprint cards were recalled and had the Phonecard overprinted with PHONE CARD and also had the Event Masters logo added to improve the aesthetic appearance of the back of them. These cards are referred to as the modified overprint cards to distinguish them from the original overprint cards. However a small number of these original overprint cards did survive unmodified.

There is likely to be a 391 Modified Sitting, which at this point is not shown. If you have a copy, please send me an image of both the front and back of it.

Note: These Overprint Phonecards that have been sighted so far, have been within the following Serial Number Ranges:-

              373 70619 to 373 70917,

              375 80009 to 375 80988,

              375 82010 to 375 82988,

              375 85068 to 375 85620, and

              391 15189 to 391 15200.
