These cards were overprinted on unsold stock of the $5 Fur Seal from the WWF series.
The Nelson Rugby Club packaged these two cards into three different folders, illustrated below. Two folders, of 2,000 each, were issued with a single card, and had the same front, with a different inside.
The other folder was a number folder of 4,000, and contained both cards.
