There are two versions of the Technicians Card, one with Control Number 8 and the other with 9. The design is the same as that used for the original test of the magnetic cards in 1989. The 008 card was the one actually used by the technicians. It had no set value, and less than 20 of these cards exist in collectors hands. The 009 card was issued in a Collector Folder of 500, together with the Purple New card. The Technicians Card came with an attached piece of cardboard that has Collectors Issue 1999 on it.
