2001 saw a complete change in the issue of loyalty
stamps. No best of miniature sheets were issued. Instead there were single imperforate se-tenant strips of the QEII set of stamps. If you had enough points, you could also get a se-tenant block, which consisted of three joined strips. Also available were six imperforate sheets from the same set. You could use your points to get from one, through to all six of the sheets. But to get all six required a huge quantity of points, consequently not many complete sets of six are in existence. The "Artwork Prints" were also no longer produced.
The entire process was not popular with collectors and
normality was resumed in 2002. |
