Recorded for the movie "Girl Happy". The rhythm track was recorded on June 12, 1964. There were 5 Takes with only Takes 3 & 5 being complete. Take 5 was used as the Master. Elvis overdubbed his vocals on June 15, with Take 2 being the Master. The Carol Lombard Singers added further vocals to Elvis' take and the song was extended for the record version, but left the original length for the movie version. | |
